posted February 20, 2001 3:34 PM Have been using FTP Tool with "StoreType = StoreUnique" for months without incident, but with increased use now have a remote file naming issue. I'm creating a remote name with an embedded IP Address, like "111.222.333.444.mail" When file name exists, the StoreUnique property appends a version: ".1" then ".2" = OK. But an unexpected filename appears when version gets to ".10" = filename becomes "111.222.333.444.mai.10" (note the "l" in "mail" disappears) and my remote server doesn't understand the file name. Is this a "bug" or a "feature" - i.e. is this the intended methodology to create the "Unique" filename ? |
