posted February 16, 2001 2:34 PM Hello, I'm doing a list() on a directory with 3000+ 1k files in it. On machines with sparse resources the function fails with a "11103 Session Aborted" error. Is there anyway I can govern the amount of data in a list or have the system read the files that made it into the list before the resources ran out? I need to move all the files in this directory (on the server) to the a local dir but it doesn't have to happen all at once. I'm using Powerbuilder 6.51 and NT4 Sp6. Thank You |

posted February 19, 2001 10:12 AM Hello Tony, It does not happen with your PB6 ftp sample but the sample uses a blocking method where my app does not. Any thoughts as to what might cause the problem in non blocking mode? Thanks |

posted February 19, 2001 11:36 AM I can't even begin to enumerate all the things that could go wrong in non-blocking mode. It would be impossible for me to comment without seeing your code. If you would like me to analyze your code, please make arrangements with our sales department. Thanks, Tony |
