posted January 31, 2001 4:30 PM We are experiencing a problem with files not being transmitted reliably over a bad connection. This happens in both directions (client to server and server to client). Is this a problem with FTP in general? Is it a problem with the FTP control? Or, most likely, is it a problem with our usage of the control? Where would I see these errors reported (the OnReply or the OnException)? And what should I be looking for. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Bruce |

posted January 31, 2001 8:02 PM I think that you posted this in the wrong forum. The FTP Tool does not have an OnReply or OnTransfer event. I can't say what the problem is from the information that you provided, but if there were errors some would show up in the OnException event. Non-fatal errors related to commands would show up in the OnReply with a status other than ftpOk. If you have further problems please post a complete description in the PowerTCP Pro Forum.
