posted March 14, 2021 1:45 AM Hello, i am writing a program which has to communicate periodically with a large number of agents over SNMP V3 (above 100 agents). i am encountering huge performance issues where my CPU usage goes up to 95%-100%. after running the performance analyzer inside visual studio, i see that more than 70% of the CPU usage comes from Dart.Snmp.SnmpSocket.GetResponse method. i am trying to figure out, whether i am doing something wrong, is it a problem that i have a lot of requests going to different agents, is it inevitable because of the encryption and i should switch to a different approach. thanks in advance, Meydan. |
