posted December 16, 2019 1:23 PM For the WebServer for ActiveX, I'm looking into using HTTPS for the first time, and I know nothing about it. I am reading the following but I can't find the referenced application. "To take advantage of security features, you might need to manage security certificates on your computers. Browsers that support HTTPS, for example, usually provide some kind of certificate management. Access the Certificate Manager Application from your PowerTCP for ActiveX program group to request, install, view, and delete certificates." Where is the Certificate Manager Application? Thanks, Tim |

posted December 17, 2019 2:23 PM Thank you for your post. The documentation for PowerTCP WebServer for ActiveX is currently being updated as The Certificate Manage Application is no longer included. You should use Microsoft's Certificate Manager plugin for Microsoft Management Console. Please see the following link for instructions: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/framework/wcf/feature-details/how-to-view-certificates-with-the-mmc-snap-in Please let me know if you have any questions. All the best, Jamie |
