posted December 30, 2000 12:45 PM I read that it is possible to do FXP between 2 FTP-servers with your control. My question is if there is any sample code? Thanks, Stephan |

posted January 1, 2001 4:20 PM It is possible to do it, however I have found that a lot of servers don't like it. Usually you will get an "Invalid Port Command" error because the specified data connection port does not come from the same machine that owns the control connection. While we don't have a sample made the Tools, we do have one in PowerTCP Pro. If you download the kit from this URL: http://www.dart.com/downloads/pt-10932.exe and install it you will see a Server To Server FTP sample written in VB. If you decide it works and you would rather use the Tools, we could write you updated sample (provided you buy a support package). |

posted January 2, 2001 3:54 AM Thank you for your fast reply, but I already solved my problem. As written in your help file for the ftp control I visited the RFC 959 Homepage and found it out myself. If anyone else is interested in FXP, just email me. Stephan Scheidl |
