I've started receiving a popup dialog stating, "The developer license found in 'our.dll' is not an Extended Distribution License, which is required to distribute Power TCP Telnet for .NET with your developed interface (API)."

We've been using this library for years. I re-activated the product locally since I saw that your account management changed. I still get the error.

What gives?

Hello,

I'm sorry for the delayed reply, we weren't open the past two days. This exception occurs when the top-level calling assembly (executable/web site/service)'s project doesn't contain a licenses.licx with an entry for our product (but the intermediary dll does). Is it possible to add a licenses.licx to the top-level project?

I realized, after reading your reply, that the only project in my solution having this problem is my Test project. I'm using ReSharper, so I'm guessing that recent changes to its Test Runner is causing the problem.

I'm out this week. I will take a look next week to see if I can resolve the problem with ReSharper's settings.

I just tried to recreate the error again today and couldn't. Whatever Visual Studio/ReSharper updates in the last month seem to have resolved the problem.

You can close this.

Thanks!
