posted September 18, 2017 2:26 PM Hi, I am using PowerVT 3.0.6, and want to automate a set of login string entries, and then launch the specific application from the command line, and then enter several strings in the application. Is there a user guide, or manual that would help me to do this? Thanks, RichBergTX |

posted September 18, 2017 3:04 PM Hello, There isn't a user guide or manual for this, but you can create a new script specifying the actions you want to take, and specify that as the login script for the telnet session. For further support options, please contact sales.@dart.com. ------ |

posted September 18, 2017 4:03 PM Thanks for the quick response Nick. Without any documentation, and without the "help" function working on my PowerVT, I am struggling to make a script, and get the telnet session to run it. Can you provide a quick run-down of how that's done? Thanks RichBergTX |

posted September 18, 2017 4:24 PM Hello, PowerVT is a legacy product, and the help was designed for earlier versions of Windows. This is required to view the help: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=91 But it doesn't cover script creation. For scripts, you state what you're expecting to receive (such as "Username:") and then you choose which action to take, such as "SendString", and specify what to send such as your username, CRLF, etc. If further assistance is desired, please contact sales@dart.com. ------ |
