posted June 19, 2015 1:18 PM We are using .Net for Mail version 4.0.1.1 and on a Mailbox.Get we are receiving the following Illegal characters in path exception. How we are making the call: ImapMessage[] imapMesages = imap.SelectedMailbox.Get(0, 1, ImapMessageInfo.Message); mscorlib: Illegal characters in path. Stack: at System.IO.Path.CheckInvalidPathChars(String path, Boolean checkAdditional) at System.IO.Path.GetExtension(String path) at Dart.Mail.Attachment.GetContentStream() at Dart.Mail.Resource.GetContentEncodingStream() at 0.x.Write(Byte[] buffer, Int32 offset, Int32 count) at 0.1.Write(Byte[] buffer, Int32 offset, Int32 count) at 0.D.WriteToLimit(Byte[] buffer, Int32 offset, Int32 count) at 0.i.Write(Byte[] buffer, Int32 offset, Int32 count) at 0.x.Write(Byte[] buffer, Int32 offset, Int32 count) at Dart.Mail.Imap.2v(Object ) at 0.j.InternalExecute() at Dart.Mail.Mailbox.Get(Int32 startIndex, Int32 length, ImapMessageInfo sections) at Acrosoft.PowerTCP.Mail.ASPowerTCPMail.SetCurrentMessage(Int32 index) This is occurring at a customer site and the same message produces the same error 100% of the time. When they sent the message to me for testing I could not reproduce. I have the mail trace from their environment if that will help and as indicated I have the message. |

posted June 19, 2015 1:35 PM We are in the process of licensing with subscription your latest version. As I said this is a customer environment and it is also production so it is less accessible for testing. |

posted June 22, 2015 4:55 PM We addressed a related issue in version 4.1.1.1, so we'd expect this issue to be resolved in the current version, though we still recommend testing if confirmation is required before purchase. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do. All the best, Jamie |
