We've recently upgraded from version 3.X and I have noticed that the new version, although much more reliable and a great improvement generally, has a tendency from time to time of blocking our whole application.

We run with numerous threads and all of them *pause*.

This wasn't happening with the previous version. I know that some work took place along these lines and in upgrading I haven't made any changes to take these sorts of changes into account.

Is there something I should be doing differently? I've followed the sample code with the console versions, which obviously are not multi-threaded but they are the easiest to understand. Do I need to RTFM somewhere to learn how to manage my calls to DART differently?

Cheers

Richard

Hello,

Are you using the same SMTP/IMAP/POP object on each thread, or a different one on each?

I'm not - one thread to send, one to receive/forward/delete.

We haven't received any reports of this before; can you send in a small, simple (no unnecessary code), self-contained project that demonstrates your issue into support@dart.com?
