posted October 7, 2014 8:09 AM Hello, if i create a DartFtp.Ftp Object in VBA dynamically, i get a message about a missing license for the ftp component. If i place the ftp component on the Access form, everything works. The component is installed in the machine, but not activated for development, since its a computer of our customer. The problem occurs in accdb files as in accde files. Is it not allowed to create the FTP Object dynamically? (Code: Public FTPConnection As DartFtp.Ftp Set FTPConnection = New DartFtp.Ftp ) |

posted October 8, 2014 3:02 AM Hello Jamie, thanks for your answer. In the help file the dynamic creation of the ftp object is only described for Access 97 - 2000. For Access XP only the static method (placing on form) is mentioned. Does this mean, its not possible in newer Access Versions? If the registry method for Access 97-2000 is still working: Can i find Details on this (place in registry, key Name ...) somewhere? Regards, hjt |
