posted June 4, 2014 3:11 AM Quick Question, I am having problem to build and deliver my windows service app. basically we have a DLL which calls PowerTCP SFTP APIs, and main windows service app is compiled into an exe file. I am currently having Dart.SSH.dll in my references of the DLL file and also have license.licx file under that project. I just read something that license assembly only works in exe file to prevent people distributing DLL files with embeded licenses. so does that mean if I add license.licx into the exe project, it will solve the problem ? |

posted June 4, 2014 10:01 AM Hello, Yes, and the licenses.licx should be removed from the dll's project. For the standard development license, the licenses.licx file must be included in the top-level calling assembly's project; the exe for Windows Forms Applications. ------ |
