We run a SCADA application (Siemens WINCC) to allow engineers to access data for various bits of equipment and they want to now be able to access an OPEN VMS host from their tablets. I'm prototyping this in Access2000 (all I have access to) before going into the SCADA application for real. What I need is a quick guide on how to open a connection to a host in access vb - just so that I can start to get my head around this. Does anyone have any samples or user manual/examples? I've downloaded the Power TCP active x trial.. |
