With WinZip if we compress the files of 3.81 GB it takes 1 min and same with DART it took 8 min.

With WinZip if we compress the files of 142 GB it takes 43 min and same with DART it took 5hrs. 18min.

Note - For DART and WinZip we used HIGH compression method

Please provide us the resolution on this. This is very critical for us and our customer.

Hello Prashant,

We have been able to improve our disk I/O performance, but it will have to be evaluated in your environment. Our sales department will be in contact w/ you to get you a hot fix to test. Thank you for choosing Dart as your component provider.

Question: When you obtain the test figures are by any chance running the app in the debugger? I ask because I just discovered that I run a Release build of the app outside of the debugger then the performance I get is in line with Winzip. Running in the debugger degrades the performance by a factor of 5
