posted April 11, 2012 4:46 PM Hi, A brief background - We have a licensed version of PowerSNMP (v 1.2.1.0) which has been working fine for a few years now. Recently we upgraded our .net solution from version 2.0 to 4.0. Now, we tried deploying this new solution, and the same old code throws an exception - "System.NotSupportedException: The invoked member is not supported in a dynamic assembly." Have included the stack trace below. Do you know what would be causing this issue? Or a temporary work around for this issue? Thanks, Mithun StackTrace - at System.Reflection.Emit.InternalAssemblyBuilder.get_CodeBase() at Dart.PowerSNMP.MibNodes.b() at Dart.PowerSNMP.MibNodes..ctor() at Dart.PowerSNMP.Manager..ctor() at JSON._Default.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) in C:\Users\mbabu\Documents\Visual Studio 2010\Projects\JSON\JSON\Default.aspx.cs:line 42 |

posted April 11, 2012 6:00 PM Hi Nick, Appreciate your response. I understand that the version we use are not supported as of now. An upgrade - eh, not sure how feasible it is to absorb the cost, at this point. I was wondering if you guys could help with a workaround or a temporary fix. It would be great if it is possible. Maybe something of this sort - http://support.dart.com/postings?topicid=8423 I appreciate any help extended. Thanks, Mithun |

posted April 12, 2012 12:37 PM Hello Mihun, There is no known workaround, and we cannot investigate issues with a previous version of a component that are not an issue in the current version without an active support contract. Please contact sales@dart.com for support options, or for purchasing the latest version of the component. ------ |
