Hi,

I was wondering if you know any ways of triggering the "Progress" event more often at
upload and dowload time(With the "ftpInProgress
status to count bytes sent). On a 28.8 modem connection, I see "block" of data being sent over
a period of time (e.g. 48Ko out of 64 total
in 10 seconds.) I don't care that it takes 10 seconds to send 48 Ko, as this would be a normal rate. I just wish to receive an update more often about "how much" has been sent for now. The progress event seems to trigger just one time over
this 48ko.

Thanks

On a retrieve, you should see one every 8000 bytes or so. On a store it would be more like the 48K you are seeing. Unfortunately you can't control that. If we changed the buffer size on send it would slow performance drastically on LAN connections.

If enough people complain, we may investigate an alternative. So far, you are the first.
