We have referenced the script library externally:

<add key="Dart.PowerWEB.FileUpload.ScriptsDirectory" value="/TMDEV/Scripts" />

Using firebug we can see that we get a 404 on this call:

http://79.125.85.142/TMDEV/Scripts/placeholderpage.aspx?res=pwiframe.html&postbackUrl=http://79.125.85.142/TMDEV/Route/2.56.261.1/moz/en-US/themeMCC/1/Component.MainForm.0.588.ASCXHost.asmx?requestid=634325733989818540&uploadid=ctl03_Upload1&managerid=ctl03_UploadManager1&text=New+File&tooltip=Click+here+to+upload+a+file&buttonimageurl=&buttonstyle=cursor%3apointer%3bposition%3aabsolute%3btop%3a0px%3bleft%3a0px%3bbackground-color%3a%23E5E9F0%3bborder-color%3a%23565A5B%3bborder-style%3aNone%3bborder-collapse%3aseparate%3bborder-width%3a1px%3bcolor%3a%23002470%3bheight%3a28px%3bwidth%3a78px%3bfont-size%3a8pt%3btext-decoration%3aunderline%3b&textboxstyle=position%3aabsolute%3btop%3a0px%3bleft%3a0px%3bbackground-color%3a%23E5E9F0%3bborder-color%3aTransparent%3bcolor%3a%23002470%3bheight%3a28px%3bwidth%3a153px%3bfont-family%3aVerdana%3bfont-size%3a8pt%3btext-decoration%3aunderline%3b&filterdescription=All%20Files%20(*.*)&filterextension=*.xlt;*.dot;*.schema;*.ehtml;*.script;*.aspx&encodedstring=Upload1|ctl03_Upload1|ce489918-587a-4cf5-aa59-2edc072a371e|/wEFGXwwfDB8fHxSZW5hbWV8JWYlKCVuJSkleCU=&autopostback=true&inputleft=-155&showtextbox=false&buttontype=PushButton&NoCache=true&uploadtype=Flash&pagekey=0072509bbc1b44cbb5ab0d20d5747e3c

We DO NOT get a power uploades bad configuration message, its successfully created the script, this is the final step it seeems

We have a replica of this system on a nother server that worksa fine and we cant seee the difference. We are sure everything is configured correctly.

We have read all the forums on this topic and can find nothing useful.

Regards

Hi Richard,
First, why are you using the external scripts?

And which version of IIS are you using on the server with the issue?

Thanks,
-ken

Hi Richard,
This is probably the same issue as reported here:
http://support.dart.com/postings?topicid=8210

If you put the swf files in a subfolder of "/TMDEV/Scripts" ("/TMDEV/Scripts/TMDEV/Scripts") does it work ok?

Thanks,
-ken

I did read this post very carefully and I cannot see any relationship between it, and my issue. I tried your suggestion and it did not work. Also note I get the same problem with a frame.

It may not be clear but I do have this working on one server, our QA server. The non working server should be an exact copy of that since its only purpose is to prove the release media before it goes to the customer. This we call the reference server. Neither the reference server nor the customer server work.

Using the working server I am able to provide the referenced aspx, but clearly its a generated file. Proviing this from another machine gets past the error, but fails as expected because it has the wrong conent.

If you have an email contaxt I can send you pictures of firebug for woeking and non-working versions and it makes whats happening much clearer.

This is a very frustrating situation because we spent 3 months integrating this control into our application only now, to have to dump it at the last minute.
