posted August 23, 2010 4:30 PM I am trying to write a web service using DartSock and DartTelnet.. The web service will receive a request, the web service will then telnet to a remote computer and return the results to the calling request.. I am unable to make this work.. I am assuming that IIS is not allowing for this to work... are there any privileges that I need to add to IIS? Could someone help? Using Windows XP Professional |

posted August 25, 2010 9:35 AM You should be able to create a web service with the PowerTCP Emulation for ActiveX product, however, we do not yet have enough information to determine the cause. If you'd like us to research this issue further please contact sales@dart.com directly for further instructions. Another suggestion is that if you are able to move to ASP.NET you do so. We offer ASP.NET specific support and our .NET 4.x products are optimized to work in a web service. ------ |
