Hello, I work for a company in the UK as a support developer. Recently we have been having issues with one of our older sites that use a version of the Dart.PowerWEB.LiveControls assembly (1.4.1.0). We do not belive that the issue is being caused by the LiveControls as they have worked perfectly in the past and we can not replicate the issue on our staging servers (which use the same assembly).

One thing we did want to try is to update the LiveControls assembly to the latest version, but I can't find any info on licencing with regards to updating. Can we use our existing licence and update the version, or do we need a new licence for each new version? The site is very old and currently undergoing a re-construction (to a version using our own custom AJAX controls) and we would rather not pay for a newer version for a simple test!

Could someone point me in the direction of this information?

Many thanks,
Jamie Powell (Admin)

Thank you for your post. You can download a fully functional free trial for the most recent version of PowerWEB LiveControls for ASP.NET here: http://www.dart.com/pwlc_trial.aspx

Once you have completed your evaluation please contact sales@dart.com directly if you are interested in upgrading. Thank you.
