Must I set any of the Proxy properties of the Web Tool in order for the tool to perform a post to a secure https site? My application, using the Web Tool, is installed on a Windows NT 4.0 Workstation which accesses the Internet via LAN and the "Use Proxy Server" option is checked and addresses and ports are filled in for Http, Secure, FTP, Gopher, and Sock.

My application is not able to perform the post, which is why I ask.

The web tool uses WININET.DLL, which uses the same settings that IE uses. If IE uses a proxy then the Web Tool will (should). Try setting the properties and see if it works.

Providing the Http/Secure address, a colon and the port number for the Proxy property and supplying values for the ProxyUserName and ProxyPassword properties did the trick. Thanks!
