We use v1.1.1 and use a simple while loop (C# .NET 3.5 VS2005 32bit) to transfer binary files between client and server in segment sizes of 65K.
When sending large files (>50Mb Windows Media Video files) with an average available upload speed of 500kbit/sec (ADSL) we see drops in transfer rate we cannot explain.
Once every 2 minutes the transfer stops completely stops for a minute or so and then commences again at full speed.
We see no errors or exceptions and when we use a sniffer to track the communication we see an acknowledge from the server but the client just does nothing for a while.
This behavior does not happen when using lower transfer speeds (<100kbit/sec) or normal Wireless or Lan connections.
We transfer the data over port 443 TCP.
In a test situation only one client is talking to a server.

Any hints?

rgds,
Hendrik
