Hi !!
First of all excuse my poor English.
I have written a Desktop application that starts an agent and works fine. Manager example application detects this agent.
Then we've passed all this code to a COM object that works as a server in our system.
When this server is stated it starts SNMP agent, but it isn`t detected. It can send traps but agent isn't detected from Manager example application or any other application that checks this SNMP agent.
Our conclusion, we can be wrong, is like if agent is in a COM Object it doesn't work well.
Has anybody the same problem?
Both programs, first desktop application and COM Object are developed in Delphi 5.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Alfredo,

I'm not sure I understand what you are doing correctly, but you say that this COM object is acting as a server. It might be that the COM object server is somehow intercepting the messages in away that is causing the agent not to receive them.
