posted December 23, 2008 6:39 AM When using TFS Build, my automated build fails saying that the licence cannot be verified: [Any CPU/Debug] Licences.licx(1,0): error LC0004: Exception occurred creating type 'Dart.PowerTCP.EmailValidation.Validator, Dart.PowerTCP.EmailValidation, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=5966291b8955e4bb' System.ComponentModel.LicenseException: Email Validation for .NET has not been installed. You must install either the 30-day trial or the fully licensed product to use this product (available from http://dart.com). I am able to open the samples on the computer that is performing the build and run them without any problems. Is there any obvious reason that this would be the case? |

posted December 23, 2008 8:41 AM Hi, Either the license is not installed on the machine performing the build, or it is running under a different user profile. The license is installed in the registry under CurrentUser, so make sure to register under the profile in which the build process runs. Hope it helps, -ken |
