posted December 18, 2008 1:50 PM After detailed research on this issue, we have found that PowerWEB products are faced with some barriers to being used in a medium trust environment. Primarily, medium trust prevents the use of reflection within a component. PowerWEB controls use reflection internally to detect control style changes which enable targeted updates to page elements. Additionally, PowerWEB File Upload (and other 3rd party .NET file upload controls) requires reflection for fundamental operation. We will continue to gather more information and to work with customers to see if there may be alternatives, but at this time we are unable to provide a solution or any specific timelines for adding support for medium trust environments. If you would like more information about this issue please contact us at support@dart.com. ------ |
