posted June 4, 2008 7:57 PM I have a VB 6.0 project that uses PowerTCP Mail for ActiveX 2.9.1, which I have upgraded to Visual Studio 2008. I have built an executable that works fine on my machine, but when I package it up with the relevant DLLs same as I did previously, I am getting the following error when trying to execute it on a clean test machine: “A license for the PowerTCP Pop Component was not found on this machine” Does something extra have to be done to make this work in Visual Studio 2008. |

posted June 10, 2008 10:44 AM Hi, How is the control instance being created in the .NET project? Was it placed on a form? Was this .NET project created using some type of VB6 to .NET wizard? Please see the following post for info on using the ActiveX controls in .NET: http://support.dart.com/postings?topicid=2647 Thanks, -ken ------ |
