Hello,

I would like to upgrade our existing dart ftp control. For a project I need to access a Server with FTPS (FTP over SSL).

So I just do some test with the trial-version and stuck ...

The server did'nt even react on my login.

I thought it would be enough to change this properties:

 ftp.LocalPort = 990
 ftp.Protocol = secureTLS

But it won't work. Both properties are protected.
What's wrong with it ?

I can access the server with filezilla:

Status: Resolving IP-Address for gehe-dc.inetarchiv.de
Status: Connecting to 217.24.11.18:990...
Status: Connection established, initializing TLS...
Status: Verifying certificate...
Status: TLS/SSL connection established, waiting for welcome message...
Response: 220-FTPS-Server (FTP over SSL) of
Response: 220-gehe-dc.inetarchiv.de
Response: 220-powered by
Response: 220-deCODEtron Archiv-Service GmbH
Response: 220 http://www.decodetron.de

Thank you for your repley.

Sorry, of course the LocalPort-property is readonly. I used LocalDataPort for the Port. But I'm still not be able to change the protocol to any other value than SecureNone.

Hello Martin,

With regards to the query I would suggest you to try our ListView sample provided with the control and check the same.
The default location for the sample is:
C:\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\Dart Sample Applications\PowerTCP\FTP for ActiveX\Vb6\ListView\

Have a great day.

Regards,
Arjun

Hello Arjun,

sorry for my late response. Of course it's working with the sample. But the implimentation was not that easy as I thought it would be. *SHAME* But with the help of the sample it was very easy to figure out what's going on. I start the implementation this morning. I love it !

I will place my order on monday, because my department manager is'nt in today.

Regards

Martin
