metroviews randya@metroviews.com From: Sugar Land, TX USA Posts: 1 Member Since: 01/13/08	posted January 13, 2008 10:09 PM When I add an Archive control to my form and try to run the project, I get the error: Spanning cannot be used with self-extracting files: set SelfExtractionConfiguration to 'null' I can comment out the lines that set spanning and selfextraction in the VB Form Designer, but when I change the form or add more controls, it resets this code and the error happens again. How do I stop this behavior?

Therefore I would request you to please provide me with the following information: 1. Are you using the latest version? If not please mention the version. 2. The development environment (VS 2005, 2003, 2002). 3. The OS installed on the machine. 4. Do you get any errors while running the samples? Have a great day. Regards, Arjun
