Hi All,

I have a unique scenario to check with. Here is my scenario. We have franchiees across US using DART component to send mail through SMTP server.

In our last release we added a small utility to Test email is working by entering their SMTP Servername, UserID and Password and Email address to send Test Email

What we do in our program is we send Test Email to their email account with the sender address 'noreply@domain.com'

Problem is in some of the computers SMTP Component is working fine if I use the Sender address as noreply@domain.com.

Whereas in some computers I have to force myself to put the sender address as "noreply@domain.com" (with double quotes). If I send without double quotes I am getting error as 'Error sending email through SMTP Server'

Why is the inconsistency between computers. Is there any setting that I need to turn on or off in order to take care of this issue.

Any help or hints is greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Karthik

Hello Karthik,

It seems to me that the concerned SMTP Server is rejecting the address (noreply@domian.com) due to some reasons.
I would request you to please provide us a trace log of the communication. You may create a trace log using the Trace method.

Happy Holidays!!

Best Regards,
Amit
