posted December 16, 2007 6:04 PM Our site is built in Visual Studio 2005 with SSL and master pages. Every page in our entire site works with the path https:// except the upload page. I get the error that the page contains both secure and non secure items. How do I fix this? When I view source in the browser it looks like it references flash websites, etc... with http://. Is this the problem? Please Help! |

posted December 17, 2007 4:12 PM Hi, I have reproduced the problem. It happens even when the UploadType is set to IFrame. Neither the page nor the File Upload script files have references with an "http:" scheme. Also, I did not see any requests for non-secure resources when I monitored the communication between browser and secure site. So I am not sure why IE throws up the warning. I have therefore submitted the problem to development for investigation as issue #4593. For updates on the status of this issue, please contact Jamie Powell (support@dart.com). Thanks, -ken |

posted January 7, 2009 5:01 PM Hi, I have exactly the same problem when moving the website to SSL enabled (https). I am using version 1.0.3.2 in VS2005, and the UplaodType setting is "AutoDetect". Do you have an update about this? or is there other place discussed about this on the website? This is the only thread I found about this issue. Thanks |

posted August 17, 2009 6:06 PM I am currently having an issue with the ForceSSL property not correctly updating all http references to https for UploadType of Flash. The reason we have to use this property instead of allowing it to auto-detect is because access to our web site first goes to a load balancer and then the requests are routed to a web server on port 80. So to the web server all requests come from port 80 and not 443. Please let me know if there is something else I need to set before the property will work or if there is a known work-around for the issue. |
