We have been using the PowerTCP Secure server component in production for around 3 years, and have had no issues. However, we now have a client who is writing an app to connect to our server, and they are running into problems trying to establish a SSL connection.

I started a capture and had them run a few tests through our server. Two of these tests failed (at the SSL Handshake I assume) and one went through successfully.

In a nutshell, the two failures follow this pattern:

Client: SYN
Server: SYN, ACK
Client: ACK
Client: CLIENT HELLO (5 bytes)
Server: ACK
Client: CLIENT HELLO (Remainder of bytes)
Server: FIN, ACK
Client: ACK
Server: FIN, PSH, ACK
Client: ACK

The one test that succeeded the CLIENT HELLO was a retransmission and we got the packet in it's entirety. Also.. I have it set to use SecureAuto if that helps at all.

Any help or suggestions I can get would be appreciated!

Thanks,
Chris
