posted July 24, 2007 11:34 AM I get this message from a customer: "After I run my anti-virus software, I always have a problem running your software. I get the following message: : a file is missing or invalid I then need to re-install the software and the problem disappears. It only reappears (and consistently), everytime I run my ZoneAlarm anti-virus package. Is it possible that my anti-virus software wipes out the DartSecure2.dll file? What is this file?" The files are actually there, it does not get rid of the dartsecure2.dll or its dependencies. Any insights? |

posted July 24, 2007 11:40 AM Actually, if you just do a regsvr32 on the dartsecure2.dll file, this fixes the problem. I have never seen this before, could the AV be erasing a dll registration? I have alot of files being registered, even Dart ones, do you know why it is picking on this file specifically? |

posted July 24, 2007 6:22 PM Looks like the file is just being delete by the AV system. I did a virus scan to see if the source dll was infected with something but it was ok. Have you heard of this file be targeted by AV systems? |
