posted January 24, 2001 7:51 AM Am trying to implement a semi multi threaded Inet robot using the Dart web control. Have written a class which creates an instance of the dartweb.http object and does an http post. Am interested to see if anyone else has written some decent (solid) error handling routines for working with the dart web control (or even MS inet control?) to do things like; 1) retry after 30 sec delay upon network error 2) timeout (when using async) and retry am having issues with; after the class retries once it gets an error 6 "Misc error" then no matter what I do, even destroy the http object and create a new one the error persists - is there a way to clear Dartweb.http errors ? Pls email me direct. |
