Hi!

I'm trying to setup an ASP-script that logs onto <url removed> , navigates to user management and create a user. I have managed to perform a login using the webasp, but everytime I execute the following webasp1.get using any of the urls on the initial logged-in page, the host-webserver returns with an error that indicates that the webasp is not logged in after all. Can you please help? I can email the script. The script contains a confidential user-login. Also, please remove the url from this message before posting it on your forum.
Thank you.

Hello,

(1) What is the last response from the server? I would suggest you to please use the Trace method to view all data which has been received or sent.

(2) Please let us know whether you are able to replicate the said error message by running our PageFetch sample. This sample uses a Get method to retrieve data from the server. Here is the default location of this sample in VB6:

C:\Program Files\PowerTCP\Web Enterprise Tool\Samples\WebASP\Vb6\PageFetch

(3) Are cookies being set to true or false. If you have set them to false then please make sure that you are handling cookies appropriately.

(4) Have you been able to make it work through any browser. If yes then I would suggest you to use a protocol sniffer to check what exactly this browser sends which your application is not sending.

Do let me know your observations on this.

Regards,
Amit

Hi!

I have used a protocol sniffer to determine all variables needed, but I still cant make it work.

I'm not that experienced at manipulating the http protocol. Would it possible for you to help me?

The task is to create an asp-page that uses your component to get past the initial logged-in page and into the user management pages at smi.micromedex.dk. I can provide you with a user login that you can use in order to login, as well as the asp-code I have used so far.

How much do you think it will cost?

Kind regards

It looks to me like you purchased standard support when you bought the product, so it would not 'cost' anything to take this to the next level, which would be for you to email everything we need to support@dart.com.

Please send the user information and if possible screenshots of the pages as they appear at your end to support@dart.com and I will see if can figure it out. If it looks to be something that requires a higher level of support I will let you know within a couple hours of receiving the info.

Please zip any files together into a single zip file called snabela-7422.zip

Post here after you have sent the email so I locate it in the system and get started quicker.

I figured it out. You have to create the request EXACTLY like your server wants it. Any mistake and it does not work. Basically what it came down to was the cookies that were included in the request to \umt\librarian

I had to jump through a few hoops to get it work so I will send you the code I used via email. If you do not get the code in a few minutes, it was probably blocked by your email server. If that is the case, please let me know and I will put it somewhere that you can download it from.
