I user placeHolder.controls.clear() to remove the controls the place holder already had to add new controls again. The problem is that some old controls are still there even though there should not be any control in the place holder. When I change the live place holder to asp place holder it works fine. thanks

I tried a simple test with LiveButtons and LiveTextBoxes, but did not see a problem. If you call LivePlaceHolder1.Refresh() after adding the controls, does that help? Thanks, -ken
