Hi Guys,

We have been testing our product under Windows Vista and have come across an issue with the Ping Enterprise Control.

If you issue a ping1.abort then try to perform any ping after calling that function then the asynchronous ping never fires a return event.

Additionally if you ping a device that does not appear on the network and cannot be resolved, any subsequent ping never returns.

This has been coded in VB6 and works just fine under Windows XP (and older OS').

If you compile and run the Ping Enterprise Client sample under Vista and click on the "Abort" button before starting you will generate an Automation error which breaks the control for good until you restart the application.

Can someone please look into this?

Thanks

I'm going to have to send you something via email now. Let's take this off of the forum until it is resolved. Check your email in about 20 minutes.
