I am using version 1.4.1.0 of the LiveSound object. When I set the Source property to a relative path for the web application(e.g. "~/sounds/sound1.wav") the sound is not played. If instead I set the Source to a relative path for the page (e.g. "sounds/sound1.wav") the sound is played. Is this expected behaviour? I would prefer to put all sounds to be played in one folder than in many sub folders. Is this possible.

Thanks in advance,

Steve Thompson

Hi Steve,
Does:
"/sounds/sound1.wav"
work for you?

It worked for me.
Thanks,

Hi Ken,

Thanks for the response. using "/sounds/sound1.wav" did not work for me. The page being viewed is two levels deep from the web app root and uses a master page that is one level deep from the root. I will try to create a sample web app that demonstrates the issue.

Thanks,

Steve
