posted February 5, 2007 11:52 AM I just upgraded to the 1.6 version of the control and have been testing its useage on my intranet before pushing to my live site, and I have an issue where the imagebuttons are no longer posting back at all on a page that has worked great in the past. I added a regular button and associated the code behind to the button and the functionality is fine. Someething in the update??? Thanks Ken |

posted February 5, 2007 12:58 PM Hi Ken, In my quick test, my LiveImageButton performed callbacks with v 1.6. How are you determining that callbacks are not occurring? Could it be that some event handlers in your project are no longer hooked up? I've noticed that sometimes they can be mysteriously detached when projects are updated. This might give the impression that callbacks are not taking place. Thanks, -ken |

posted February 5, 2007 4:26 PM I have run into that same issue before with actions detaching themselves from code behind and I made sure to double click on all my items to re-link. The way i am able to tell no call back is happening is two fold.... 1. The page refreshes instead of the 'no-refresh' functionality of AJAX 2. Putting a trace stop i nthe code never gets hit. I have found the issue also to be in imagebuttons in repeaters or datagrids...seems ONLY to be the image button tho. i replace them with buttons with the copied code behind and it works fine... Not sure what could be causing it since the only thing that occured was the upgrade... Thanks |

posted February 5, 2007 5:48 PM I am having the same issue with the LiveButton. I replaced the LiveButton with a standard button and everything works find. I did verify that the click event was still wired up. The only change to the application was the upgrade from v1.5.4 to v1.6 |
