I have followed the instructions to add the component to the toolbox. However, the component does not display there. I have done the following to troubleshoot:

 - Make sure the "checkbox" for telnet for .net is checked

 - Unchecked, restarted visualstudio, re-checked

 - uninstalled, downloaded and installed the latest version of the component

 - Created a new project and repeated the toolbox customization

I am using:
Microsoft Visual Studio 2005
Version 8.0.50727.42 (RTM.050727-4200)
Microsoft .NET Framework
Version 2.0.50727
Installed Edition: Professional

The control will be enabled only if you have a project that supports those controls, For Example: Windows Application Project, etc.
Also make sure you have the form in the designer, not the code editor window.

If above info does not help, try the following:
1) Please UNcheck the Telnet for .net option.
2) Add a new Tab, in the Toolbox.
3) Right Click on the newly added Tab, and select "Choose Items"
4) Now Check Telnet for .net
5) The Control should be in the new Tab now!
6) If you still do not have the control in the new Tab, right click on the Toolbox and check "Show All".

I hope this addresses your inquiries. Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

Regards,
Raj

Should the control show up when creating a "Blank Web Site" project.

In this case, you will need to right click the form and select "Show Component Designer" in order to enable the Telnet control in the Toolbox.
