posted August 23, 2006 2:11 PM We recently upgraded from VB 6.0 to VS2005 .NET Framework 2.0. After the upgrade, the .Connect method is failing to compile with the following message: Overload resolution failed because no accessible ‘Connect’ accepts this number of arguments. This is occuring with the PowerTCP Telnet tool (non-.NET version). The .NET Telnet samples that were included fail compile as well. It appears the method is looking for localname and localport now. Previously the method did not ask for these items. Any suggestion on how to resolve this problem? Thank you, Mike |

posted August 23, 2006 6:42 PM Thanks. All you need to do is pass in the parameters. Just use "" for strings and 0 for numbers. |
