When I deploy in ASP.NET 2.0 (Visual Basic 2005) I get the following error:

Parser Error Message: Could not load file or assembly 'Dart.PowerTCP.Telnet, Version=1.0.1.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=5966291b8955e4bb' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

I added a reference to Dart.PowerTCP.Telnet and have a licenses.licx file in my project. I am using RSH in the application and it works on the development machine, but when I deploy on a test machine I get the above error.

I noticed the following in the Web.Config was added following my add reference:
<compilation debug="true">
<assemblies>
<add assembly="Dart.PowerTCP.Telnet, Version=1.0.1.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=5966291B8955E4BB"/></assemblies></compilation>

Before we begin, I need to know whether you are a trial user or you have a licensed Telnet kit. If you are using a licensed version, can you please send an email to sales@dart.com with the serial number?

I am using a licensed version. Do you not keep records? I played the good soldier and reported the serial number to your sales department.

Sorry about that. We do keep records but we have never received email from someone with your name or email address so I was unable to link you to a record.

To answer your question: It sounds like the Telnet DLL is not getting copied over to the deployment machine. Do you see it in the bin directory?
