Hi,

I'm evaluating to purchase DartPing for our App, as I think that icmp.dll (free) doesn't handle regular pings too well. Systems becomes laggy.

So I tried DartPing (30-day trial) and am using a very simple ping function that seems to work beautifully. However after a while, my machine cpu utilization goes up to 100% and my app becomes unresponsiveness which leaves me no choice but to forcefully end it. Am I overlooking something? Has anyone encountered this before.

Do you have a way for us to reproduce this problem? Perhaps you can explain how to use one of our sample apps to see it?

Yes I have solved the problem using the asynchronous method of Dart Ping Enterprise. I was previously using the PowerTCP Winsock (ping) control in blocking mode and I think that I was pinging terminals every other second. I have since evaluated many other ping activeX controls but nothing comes close the multithreaded capabilities of the asynchronous Dart Ping Enterprise. Thanks for head-ache free solution.
