posted June 27, 2006 4:17 PM Hi again, I updated to v1.5.1.0 and I have encountered some troubles with the new version (I was using v1.4.1 before) Since updating, doing a normal postback using a standard Calendar select control causes some controls in my LiveDataGrid to disappear - they are Literal controls. This is different to v1.4.1, in which it worked just fine. In the new version, I cannot seem to get any live control to work in the same way as it used to unless I enable the "Update All" parameter on each control - eg I have a live timer, which once enabled will not stop ticking - the callback is supposed to set the enable parameter to false - but it only works if I set Update All to true. I've read the documentation, but I cannot work out what I am doing wrong. Apart from this problem, the controls seem fine - I even managed to fix and improve the efficiency of my callbacks (see earlier post about LiveDataGrid callback slowness compared to postback). Also - are there any examples of how to make a complex standard control (such as calendar) Live? I've tried the LiveWrapper, and read the stuff about using the LiveControlUpdate=true, but I haven't managed to get this to work at all. Struggling... cheers, Clive |

posted June 27, 2006 10:30 PM I am also having the problem where I must enable all live controls to "Update All" or they do not work. I was using v1.4.1 until I upgraded to 1.5.1. Does anyone have a fix/solution for this? |

posted June 28, 2006 3:32 PM It appears that an issue with the UpdateAll property used with LiveTimer may have been introduced in v1.5.1.0. This has been reported as issue #4007 and will be addressed in an upcoming release of LiveControls. For further inquiry on the status of this issue, please contact support@dart.com. |
