posted June 13, 2006 12:55 PM Everything has been working fine for over a year when suddenly today WebASP1.Post starts throwing back the following message and dying: Dart.WebASP.1 error '800a2b5d' Proxy server does not support Secure Tunneling. We are using MS Proxy 2. Nothing has been changed and the proxy works fine from IE when accessing secure sites. |

posted June 14, 2006 9:04 AM Have you resolved this problem yet? If not, then I would check with whoever administers your proxy/web server. Your statement "Everything has been working fine for over a year when suddenly today" indicates, without a doubt, that something had to have changed. Perhaps a Microsoft update was recently applied? |

posted June 14, 2006 10:10 AM We administer the proxy server and quite definately nothing has been changed. I checked the MS Auto Updates and they were set to not auto install so I don't think it was that. Our live server (with the problem) is running dartwebasp.dll 1.8.04. For the moment I have skipped around the problem by not using a proxy. Our dev server had the same problem (as it uses the same proxy). I have upgraded to dartwebasp.dll 1.8.2.0. This works fine via the proxy for http pages but when accessing https pages returns a status=200 and an empty .Body.ReadString. The .Header.All is just "ia: 1.1 NEPTUNE" which is actually the name of the proxy server and not the target https page. I have since run a Windows update on the proxy server to bring it 100% up to date. The results are the same: Live: 1.8.04 gives "proxy does not support..." Dev: 1.8.2.0 gives status=200 but no page data IE 6 (via same proxy) works fine on same https page |

posted June 14, 2006 10:14 AM Try using 1.8.2.0, but add .Body.Position = 0 before doing the ReadString and see if you get different results. |

posted June 14, 2006 10:29 AM Sorry, but it looks like I won't be able to resolve this easily here in the forum. Please email our support department directly at support@dart.com to continue on this. |
