Hi All,

is there any sample to see how to build a c# windows service to catch snmp trap?

i tried to code it but at run time i have an error regarding multiple thread and activeX component.

Your help will be appreciated.

I don't have an example that does exactly what you want. Have you researched the exact text of the error message on Google to see if anyone else has gotten it?

Also, I'm not sure if you are aware, but we now provide PowerSNMP for .NET, which you may find easier to use in a C# project. For more info, check out http://www.dart.com/powersnmp/snmpdotnet.asp

thank you for your reply. i would like to use .net package but we do not have enough budget for it. that's why i'm trying to use activeX version instead.
