Hi!
I would like to improve the connectivity possibilities of my AxVt-enabled-application by allowing users to connect with their laptops via the COM port through a RS232 cable interface.
Is that possible with the same component? Need I buy something else? My idea is to reuse the AxVT control, and only change the lower communication layer... Is that possible?
Regards

The VT control really has nothing to do with communications. Currently, you are probably using the Telnet control to do the communications portion of your app. Now you need to replace that with a control that does serial communication. Something like the MSCOMM control that comes with VB would probably work for you.
