Is it possible to set importance( priority) on the message (Low, Normal, High). I'm trying to use SMTP control to send messages, but i need to set up a priority on the message. My SMTP server is MS Exchange 5.5 sp 3

The following code works for me:

Smtp1.Message.Header.Add msgNull, "X-Priority: 1 (Highest)"

I added that code and it doesn't work when trying to send to a verizon phone as text message. I can send an email from outlook to the phone and that works and shows up on the phone as urgent. When i add the X-priority header the message doesn't even show up on the phone

Send yourself a message using Outlook, then look at the headers it adds. One of them is the one you want.
