Hi,
I try to upload 2 files of 50 MB using a C# console program (using PowerTCP FTP Component 2.3.2.0) on Windows Server 2003. The transfer always complete but it hangs after the first file and the following error is thrown :

"A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond"

When I disable the local (client) firewall it works well. The real problem is that I can't disable the firewall.

It sounds like my program never receive the "226 Transfer Complete" when the firewall is active.

I tried using passive mode and active mode and it's always the same problem.
I am a bit lost and would like to know if someone can help me.
Thank you!

PS: I have absolutely no control over the server configuration.

Hi,

A similar issue was discussed in the following post:

You might have to handle the error and proceed accordingly, since the transfer is completed successfully.
