posted March 15, 2006 3:20 PM Hi Tony Priest, as you asked i made a seperate thread. I followed your instructions and added DartServer to the general tab, but i cant add it to the form because it gives me an "Dll not registered error". I thought i really isnt registered and did that with regsvr32, but it still gives me the error. I tried installing the fix you gave me but that didnt work either. What should i do now? |

posted March 15, 2006 3:59 PM You probably did not run the correct hotfix. Make sure that you run the correct version for your framework. If it asks to reboot, make sure you do. In fact reboot anyway. Also, did you register DartSock.dll as well? If not please do so and try again. |

posted March 16, 2006 8:54 AM I'm not sure I totally understand your problem, so let's back up a bit. Please try this: 1) Install the PowerTCP Server Tool on your machine 2) Start a brand new windows form project 3) Add the "Dart Server Control" to the toolbar 4) Drag a server control onto the form If you get an error, please post the exact message that you get. |

posted March 16, 2006 11:11 AM My apologies. It's just that I have tried very hard to duplicate the error you are seeing without success. If you have followed all of my steps and are still getting an error, than I don't have any other advice. Please let me know if that is the case and I will have someone contact you regarding advanced support options. |
