Hello,

I use the dart ftp.net component. Basically the code used in the listview sample. However every now and then I get the bizzarest error message in a dialog:
---------------
An unhandled exception of type 'System.CannotUnloadAppDomainException' occurred in Unknown Module.

Additional information: AppDomain can not be unloaded because the thread 12d8 can not be unwound out of it.
-----------
The thread number above varies but the rest remains the same.

Any help on the cause?

Thanx alot in advance,

Tobias

Can you give me steps to duplicate this with our sample ListView app? If not, then can you determine what needs to be added or removed from the sample in order to duplicate?

Hmm can't think on what I might have added.

I have the project zipped here:

http://cola.avdelning3.se/dart/ListViewProjUnloadAppDomain.zip

and stacktrace here (good info down in this):
http://cola.avdelning3.se/dart/stacktrace.txt

Screenshot from error here:
http://cola.avdelning3.se/dart/dart1.gif

After clicking break:

I use the "play" button in Visual Studio 2003 to run it. The error occurs AFTER the page listview.aspx has finnished loading in the browser. So it seems like some cleanup problems in the component maybe?

Best regards,

Tobias

I can see many differences between that project and our sample app. Please save your sample to a different directory, then reinstall the tool and see if you can duplicate this with the original sample. If you can't then start comparing the code in your sample to the original to find the cause.
