posted November 8, 2005 11:06 AM We're using your FTP component in a multithreaded app that downloads file in background threads. Previously when an exception would occur we would drop the whole thread and get out and start a new one. What we'd like to do is just catch the failing transfer and continue on with the rest of the files. However when we do this the app becomes unstable and hangs on threads. My question is can we achieve this and if so is there some maintenance that needs to be done before we continue on? Any thoughts? |

posted November 8, 2005 12:48 PM Are you really using the FTP tool or the .NET component? I ask because your previous posts seem to deal with the .NET component. If this is about FTP for .NET and you have looked at all of the sample apps and you still have a question. Please repost in the FTP for .NET forum. |

posted November 8, 2005 12:52 PM You're right it's the component I'll post over there. I have looked at the sample apps but I'll explain more there. |
